This Private Cemetery and Mortuary is located on
The Cemetery begun interments in about 1964. There is a large Mausoleum,
Memorial Walls that contain Plaques, two Veteran's sections, a Masonic
Section, a Jewish section as well as the traditional sections. There is
also a Columbarium. External Cremains Vaults and a
The
San Luis Obispo County
Genealogical Society obtained permission to photograph the
headstones The photographing process was begun in October 2007 and
completed in mid December 2007. A database is being created from the
data on the headstones.
My thanks to Phoebe Adams, Pat Bunyard, Shanda Gibbs & John Sharp who
volunteered their time to take the photographs and to Betty McElhill for
doing Social Security lookups for missing Dates of Death.
This is a very large Cemetery, and since it is new in comparison to
other Cemeteries in

photos are linked to this Site as well as alphabetical indexes. A word
about the Cemetery Index: Because of privacy issues, SLOCGS does not
have access to the Interment Records, thus the Master Index was created
from data on the Headstone.
The Indexes contain Name, Date of Birth and Date of Death and are
searchable pdf files.
Additionally, the
SLOCGS Society can do Obituary and Death Certificate searches
and transcriptions - there is a fee for this process.
